When I sent out the emails to promote this event I basically said who would not like to hear the story of a founder who made millions of dollars traveling the world and I think it sums up the story of Lonely Planet pretty well.
I think it is a dream of many of us, including myself, and that is what made the chance to sit down with Melbourne's own Tony Wheeler to hear the amazing journey so special for many of us.
Listening to his story, I almost get carried away with the notion that when you do what you love, things happen to fall in place.

Some of his first employees just walked through the door and told him they wanted to work for him, and as he continued to travel, doing what he loved...his business flourished. Changing the travel industry forever.
