As the president and founder of BroadBlast Inc., Amy is creatively changing the way businesses, government and educational institutions are communicating with their audiences, both internal and external. “Clear communication that is timely, accurate and proactive is the key to driving success in any situation, both personal and professional”, says Amy. “I love helping people and the foundation to this is helping them communicate effectively”. With a unique background in both human services and business, Amy possesses excellent leadership and communications skills that enable her to independently oversee and manage programs, people and infrastructure with a high level of success. Amy is a creative and progressive strategic leader whose entrepreneurial style enables her to develop successful programs that result in positive, tangible results for both her company and its clients. Within six short years of founding BroadBlast, Amy has grown it into a company with annual revenue of over $1 million. As a well-respected and involved community contributor, Amy has served on the boards of the Women’s Employment and Resource Center, ClearView Center, the Women’s Business Council of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the Family Support Foundation. She started a mentor program within her organization that assists and mentors young women as they enter the workforce. She is an involved member of the Women’s President’s Organization, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and the American Heart Association’s Circle of Red. In 2012, she received the Top 250 Companies as awarded by DiversityBusiness.com, 2012 YWCA Resourceful Women Entrepreneur of the Year, and was also named to Worldwide Who’s Who. In 2013, she was awarded Top 250 Companies and top 100 Company in New York State as awarded by DiversityBusiness.com. In April 2013, Amy was named a 2013 Enterprising Women of The Year by Enterprising Women Magazine. A graduate of George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Amy also earned a master’s degree in psychology from United States International University in California.
