In 2012, Founder Mike Brown started Death Wish Coffee Co. in a small coffee shop in Saratoga Springs, NY, in response to his groggy, morning customers' requests for coffee that was both strong & delicious. Mike created the perfect blend of beans, and using his unique roasting technique, the 'World's Strongest Coffee' was born. Death Wish Coffee Co. has grown bootstrap to $14M in just 4 years.

Winning Intuit’s ‘Small Business Big Game’ competition in 2015 earned Death Wish a 30- second commercial in the 2016 Superbowl half-time show; 6 months later the company's sales were at $10 million, more than double the prior year's sales.
Death Wish was the official coffee sponsor of New York Comic Con, sponsored Nascar Driver Ty Dillon and has had the opportunity to support amazing charities like the Special Olympics with their products.
