Helena Torras is both entrepreneur and investor. Together her entrepreneurial team, she has been leading Abiquo, which she joined in 2007 as shareholder. Today, Abiquo has raised more than $24M in venture capital and established operations in US, UK and Spain.
Used to being on both sides of the table, Helena has been member of the board of directors or advisor in some promising startups such as Ducksboard (acquired by New Relic) or Marfeel, among others. Furthermore, she is also a mentor at Wayra (Telefonica’s accelerator program), mentor at Barcelona Mentoring Program, and Board member at ESADE Alumni Entrepreneurship.
Prior to this impressive entrepreneurial career, she worked as auditor (KPMG), consultant and was CEO of a medical service company.
