Dr. Oscar García Pañella holds a PostDoc in Entertainment Technology by the ETC @ Carnegie Mellon University. He's currently directing The Videogame Degree (ENTI-UB) besides the Gamification & Transmedia Storytelling Master Program (IEBS) while he partners as the Gamification Manager at Cookie Box, Oscar has advised the design and creation of “Serious Games” and “Gamification” campaigns for interesting companies such as Konic THTR, Coperfield, HP, Digital Legends Entertainment, Roland, Telefonica I+D, Infojobs, The Saint Jude Hospital, KPMG, SEAT, Agbar, Cyklum, Aqualogy, Agrupació, Sanitas, Lander, Accenture ... among many others.
His research keywords include Gamification, Serious Games, Game Design, Virtual Entities and Realities and Multimedia Apps plus Videogames, Location-based Entertainment, Alternate Reality Games, Edutainment, Games 4 Health, Exergaming, Advergaming, Newsgaming, Theme Parks and anything that includes the "fun" and "serious" components.
