Carlos has been in the Hotel business since he was born. His father founded NH Hotels & AC Hotels. In 2011 they created a Joint Venture with Marriott International turning AC Hotels into a global company: AC Hotels by Marriott. Carlos, Vice President of AC Hotels, leads the integration with Marriott, working with new openings worldwide and transforming the family business into a global company.

Carlos has been in the Hotel business since he was born, he is part of the second generation of hoteliers in the Family. His father founded NH Hotels and AC Hotels, and in 2011 they created a Joint Venture with Marriott International turning AC Hotels into a global company, now AC Hotels by Marriott.
Carlos, as Vice President of AC Hotels, is leading the integration with Marriott International; he is now working with new openings worldwide and transforming the family business into a global company, but always keeping the focus on essentials and trying to find the best way to export the culture.
Prior to that, he worked in 3i International and in ANCA Group, leading investments in different industries.
Carlos is member of the Board of Director of AC Hotels, part of the Spain - U.S Chamber of commerce and member of the Madrid tourism board.
Actually AC Hotels has 98 hotels in 10 counties and more than 100 new hotels will open in the next 3 years. AC Hotels is part of Marriott International, the first hospitality company in the world with 19 brands and more than 4000 hotels.
