NOTE: This event will be conducted in Spanish.
Justo Molinero is a radio businessman, mostly well-known for his media imperium with Grup TeleTaxi, which includes several frequencies of radio, some TV channels and a discographic label (Moval Music).
Born in Córdoba, Southern Spain, Justo emigrated to Catalonia in search for a job, where he started working in an auto repair shop, and then as a taxi driver. In 1982, right before the Spain World Cup, he started Radio Tele-Taxi, to communicate with his fellows in the taxi industry, mostly to report lost items. However, in 1986, barely four years later, he had to shut it down as he had been operating without the required license. After an intense fight with red tape and bureaucracy, Molinero and part of his team resumed their work when they acquired the RM Radio de Mataró station, which allowed him to operate until 1992, when he finally got the license to emit in FM, thus culminating the rebirth of Radio TeleTaxi.
During the 90s, Radio TeleTaxi experienced an enormous growth, adding new frequencies that permitted them to cover new territories; not only Catalonia entirely, but also Comunitat Valenciana, Aragón and Andorra.
Later on, Justo decided to create a TV Channel (TeleTaxi TV) and a music label Moval Music.
Nowadays, he conducts several of his programs: El Jaroteo, espacio decano de Radio Tele-Taxi, and an interviews program "Qui és qui" on TeleTaxi TV.
In 2006, he was awarded a Premio Ondas for his "extensive and extremely professional background and his business achievements in the Spanish radio industry, and for having created a new combination of music and radio that amassed very high audiences throughout the years".
