About the Event This is a virtual fireside chat event organized by Startup Grind Boston chapter and will be moderated by Jason Kraus. We will discuss Tino's journey from the corporate world into entrepreneurship and the vision behind his venture Baru. Baru accomplishes three goals: restructuring of a legacy industry that eliminates financial waste, serves customers and local economies better, and saves the environment from avoidable CO2 emissions. We will explore what it takes to modernize outdated industries, insights into current Augmented Reality and emerging technologies and advice for our startup community in building their ventures. Audience Q&A encouraged in this interactive chat! About the Speaker Tino Go is an Indonesian immigrant, serial innovator, and a 1st Place Kodak National Award-winning photographer. Mr. Go is an operations professional and corporate finance executive. In Go's first CFO role, he oversaw the 7x growth of a manufacturer from $12M to $85M in five years. Go was recently CFO of a $1.2B business unit of BASF, the German chemical conglomerate. He earned his MBA in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan. Currently a resident of San Jose and Cleveland, Mr. Go has lived and worked in France, Italy, and Germany. He is fluent in French and Italian.
