About this event

The 9th annual Texas A&M University Entrepreneurship Camp is a private initiative with the Youth Adventure Program to provide a simulated business experience for 20 or more students each summer. This program has produced more than 60 new products developed by students ages 14-27 by iterating on patented technologies provided by NASA and now A&M Innovation. This year's host is Capital Farm Credit. An official T2U program with NASA since 2019, this camp involves members of Startup Grind-Aggieland and startups from 1876 Ventures, often from across the U.S. and globally, joining together with A&M faculty and local industry professionals to create an environment that closely resembles famous Skunk Works programs which use rapid iteration and brainstorming to remove barriers to innovation.

Mentors have included some of the greatest and most creative minds from the Aggie Network and beyond, provided by 1876 Ventures with help from student startup leaders with Startup Grind-Aggieland. For the past nine years, this program has also resulted in free trips to Startup Grind Global for student team leads as well as an opportunity to win prizes and cash awards! Student team leads enjoy expanding their professional networks through formal and informal interactions with industry mentors, judges and sponsors who participate in this program -- which concludes with a business pitch competition judged by leaders from academia and industry. The teams are comprised of gifted and talented students who have paid A&M to participate. Students have traveled to Aggieland from seven U.S. states and Croatia.
