Chris Schuett, COO Little Cinema in Brooklyn, and a Texas A&M University graduate, will be featured in a free fireside chat. Chris is a Mays Business School graduate in Management. As an undergraduate at Mays, he participated in Startup Aggieland, 3-Day Startup, SCHOOL'd U and other programs within the college. As COO of Little Cinema, Chris works with such prominent entertainment brand partners as Warner Brothers, NetFlix, Twitch, Paramount, HBO, Conde Nast, Showtime, National Geographic, Disney and Amazon, among other brands. Little Cinema is a full-service, multi-media agency of artists, creators, designers, writers, directors, producers, storytellers and logistics gurus who together have orchestrated more than 300 film premieres and entertainment activations across the U.S. in less than two years, including a recent Times Square premiere for the film Black Adam, leading the box office this month and starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Little Cinema recently won four CLIO awards. Since 2016, Little Cinema has produced bespoke experiential activations tied to in-person events. However, when the global pandemic locked down many companies and canceled in-person events, Chris Schuett helped as the new COO to pivot the company to a virtual world. Little Cinema built a digital platform to produce virtual premieres for film and , which became Little Cinema Digital (launched in April 2020). Within months of launching the new platform, the company hired 14 full-time employees across five states-- in addition to several freelancers. Chris will discuss his entrepreneurial journey as a student at A&M and entertainment startups. Chris Westfall, executive-in-residence with the Venture Studio at DesignSpark Innovation Center, will conduct the chat with Chris. Students, faculty and staff are welcome.
