Brian Kralyevich '89, is an accomplished executive design leader with a 20+ year career in award-winning user experience design, consumer brand experiences, eCommerce, VR, Voice, AI and architecture for such global brands as eBay, Amazon, Nokia and Microsoft. The Distinguished A&M Alum is currently Senior Vice President of Product Design at Greenlight. Before joining Greenlight, Brian most recently served as Vice President of UX Design at eBay -- overseeing Buyer, Seller, and Payment products and services globally. Prior to eBay, Brian led the design of Amazon's Alexa devices and voice services including Echo, Echo Show and Echo Spot. He and his teams drove design innovation and delivery of Fire and Kindle products for Kindle Fire Tablets, Kindle Readers, Fire TV, Fire TV Cube, Cloud Cam, Prime Mobile devices, and other strategic design initiatives that helped shape the product roadmap at Amazon. Prior to joining Amazon, Kralyevich was executive creative director at XBOX, where he directed interdisciplinary design teams who delivered consumer experiences through game consoles, Kinect, desktop computers and mobile devices. Brian has frequently served as a guest lecturer at Texas A&M University classes. Brian's teams are makers and design thinkers, working closely in collaboration with engineering and business partners to deliver integrated hardware, software and services solutions for customers. Prior to Amazon, Brian was Sr. Design Director for XBOX where he led envisioning and delivery of UX, Gesture and Voice-led end-to-end consumer experiences across game consoles, tablets, mobile and web. In his career roles, Kralyevich managed teams of highly creative individuals whose disciplines included interactive and motion design, 3-D animation, and design integration — the application of design thinking to corporate strategy and processes in an effort to achieve business breakthroughs. His teams are design-led, working in collaboration with engineering and business partners to produce innovative, integrated hardware, software and service solutions for customers. Kralyevich’s work has garnered the digital industry’s most esteemed design awards and been featured in numerous publications including Communication Arts, Wired Magazine, The Verge, The New York Times and CNet. Brian currently serves as an adviser and mentor at 1876 Ventures in the RS/DesignSpark Innovation Center. He previously served as a startup adviser, technical mentor and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Startup Aggieland from 2015-2018. Brian has a Master's degree in Architecture from The University of Texas in Austin. He graduated from the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Environmental Design.
