About this event

Travel & Web3: Creating a Safer, Equitable World

We're talking about Web3 with Kristina Liburd! Kristina is the Founder & CEO of Viageur, the mobile app that makes it easier for travelers to plan their activities and stay safe from COVID, crime, and racial and LGTBQ+ concerns using ML (machine learning) and blockchain.

Not sure what Web 3.0, AI and machine learning are? We got you! We're going to go over all of that and discuss how Kristina is building her travel app to be more inclusive and equitable in Web 3.0.

Featured Speaker: Kristina Liburd

In addition to Viageur, Kristina is also the US Vice-Chair for Raizup, an organization whose mission is to promote and amplify diversity and inclusion efforts in the travel industry by providing rich personal and professional development content and opportunities to its corporate and individual members.

Kristina is an IP attorney with an LL.M. in Intellectual Property who has worked in different legal and executive capacities within non-profit organizations and small & large corporations such as Sony Music Entertainment and Combs Enterprises (formerly Bad Boy Worldwide). (That's Diddy ya'll 🤩!).

Kristina is a champion of equality and justice and seeks to make Web3 a space for generational wealth for those voices who have historically been silenced and not heard.
