Always innovating on his life, Steven Hoffman, known as Captain Hoff is a serial entrepreneur, venture capitalist, angel investor, filmmaker and Hollywood TV exec. After starting three venture-funded startups in Silicon Valley, Hoffman launched Founders Space with the mission to educate and accelerate entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs. Founders Space has become one of the top startup accelerators in the world with over 50 partners in 22 countries. Hoffman has trained hundreds of startup founders and corporate executives including Instagram, Twilio, Mashable, 99 designs, etc. 

史提芬·霍夫曼被人称作为霍夫船长，在他的生活中始终不断地在进行着创新，他是连续创业者、风险投资人、天使投资人、电影制片人以及好莱坞电视剧执行人。在硅谷创办了3家风投基金初创企业之后，霍夫曼创办了创始人空间（Founders Space），其使命是教育及快速培育企业家及公司内部高管。创始人空间已在22个国家超过50多个合作伙伴，成为了全世界最领先的初创加速器之一。霍夫曼已对数以百计的初创企业创始人及大企业高管进行了关于硅谷创新艺术的培训，包括图片分享平台Instagram。 霍夫曼在加州大学圣塔芭芭拉分校（UC Santa Barbara）获得了计算机工程的学士学位，然后又在南加利福尼亚大学（USC）获得了电影电视制作的硕士学位。
