Steven Tong currently serves as the Managing Director of Startupbootcamp Asia where he brings more than 15 years of experiences in government, private sector and venture capital. After Silicon Valley, he employs his multi-faceted skills in scouting and investing in FinTech startups, advising entrepreneurs on their business strategy, product, etc., and expanding Startupbootcamp in Asia.
Steven Tong currently serves as the Managing Director of Startupbootcamp Asia where he brings more than 15 years of experience in government, private sector and venture capital. He spent over 5 years in Edtech providing consultancy to schools and entrepreneurs building products and another 5 years in Silicon Valley helping Singapore and American tech startups with cross-border market expansion(e.g., Amazon’s first ever data center in Asia).
After Silicon Valley, Steven became a Venture Capitalist and made investments in 2 accelerators, 1 seed fund and 1 seed stage startup. Moving forward, he employs his multi-faceted skills in scouting and investing in FinTech startups, advising entrepreneurs on their business strategy, product, business operations etc, and expanding Startupbootcamp in Asia.
