In 2013, RevLocal was named the #1 Fast Fifty Company in Central Ohio for the highest growth rate of all new businesses; followed up by a #2 ranking in 2014. In addition to the fast growth recognition, RevLocal also received recognition of one of Central Ohio’s Best Places to Work in 2012.
Marc was born and raised in Danville, Ohio, the son of an entrepreneur. Marc is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame but remains a loyal Buckeye fanJ
Marc began his professional career as an accountant with Ernst & Young before moving into commercial banking for 10 years with Park National Corporation, progressing to the role of Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending at their United Bank affiliate in Bucyrus.
In 2004 Marc left the corporate world and became an entrepreneur with his older brother and took on the leadership role of the businesses founded by his brother: ECR Computers, Inc. and Copper.net, Inc. Along with a trusted Executive team from their ECR and Copper.net businesses, the Hawk brothers started RevLocal, a new entrepreneurial venture in November 2010. Their vision is to support small and mid-sized business in the U.S. and Canada with digital marketing services and strategies that help businesses stay prominent and current in the digital age. This vision is being realized everyday as RevLocal continues to thrive with nearly 200 employees and representatives in over 20 markets.
Marc is active in his church and community and is a founder and the current President of AM820, St. Gabriel Catholic Radio. He is happily married to his wife of 18 years, Tonya, and they are proud parents of five children who attend Olentangy Local Schools.
