Mandy joined Tutor.com, the largest online tutoring service in 2013 after the company was purchased by IAC, a leading media and Internet company. An executive with deep consumer, internet and brand experience, Mandy will help expand Tutor.com’s successful institutional business which has delivered 10 million one-on-one tutoring sessions through libraries, schools and the U.S. military to reach millions of more students and families directly.
Mandy took over Match.com in 2008 after 19 months of decline, re-energizing the business and was responsible for the strongest growth Match.com has seen in its history. Mandy drove several breakthrough TV campaigns including “Real First Dates” ad campaign for Match.com that drove 20% growth of new customers and at Chemistry.com she led the award-winning “Come as you Are” campaign quadrupling the business. Mandy oversaw all aspects of Match.com’s U.S. business—including marketing and branding, building strategic partnerships, driving technology and developing innovative product features including the launch of local events across the country. This expertise will be applied to Tutor.com’s business to create an education brand for college-bound students.
Mandy was a competitive soccer player at the University of California at Berkley where she earned her Bachelor’s degree and she has an MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. She is on the Board of Care.com. Mandy lives in Dallas with her husband and two daughters.
