About this event

Coming off the heels of a successful kick-off fireside chat in June, we are excited to bring Chris Motley to the Startup Grind Denver community. Former Chapter Director, Doug Thorner, will interview Chris, Founder & CEO, Mentor Spaces. Doors open at 5:30. Please come mingle from 5:30 to 6:30 with other tech startup pros. Fireside chat will begin at 6:30.

Mentor Spaces is a virtual mentorship company for early career Black and Latinx professionals which helps companies scale their diversity and inclusion efforts, while advancing the careers of underrepresented minorities.

Before Motley founded Mentor Spaces over a decade ago, he spent 6 years as an EVP & Director at 1888 Mills, a global textile manufacturer, where he led its expansion into Ghana, Africa and led its Apparel Division. Previously, Motley spent 4 years at Goldman Sachs as a Commodities and Interest Rate Products trader. He is a graduate of Columbia University with a B.A. in History and the Kellogg School of Management with an MBA, concentrating in Entrepreneurship.
