The evening will include a Fireside chat with Lamine Zarrad, CEO and Founder Joust, as well as networking with food and drink Lamine, CEO and Founder of Joust, is an innovative thought leader and futurist in the banking industry. Lamine’s varied background includes service as a forward deployed U.S. Marine, Advisor for Merrill Lynch, a National Bank Examiner for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and most recently CEO of Tokken, Inc. Lamine’s vision for an improved banking sector sets Joust’s course while he leads the team in a shared pursuit of connecting the underserved to the modern financial system. Lamine has been awarded a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on International Business and Russian Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Public Affairs degree with a focus on Policy Analysis/Public Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Lamine was born in the former Soviet Republic of Azerbaijan and came to the United States as a refugee.
