Investing Women Angels is Scotland's first women angel group; with international collaboration already developing.  Very much 'more than a syndicate'; Investing Women is encouraging and supporting growth businesses, building investment knowledge and creating access for women; aiming to inspire growth. Jackie is one of the UK’s leading specialists in women's enterprise. An entrepreneur herself, she has 28 years experience of working with the private sector, government and directly with women to help boost levels of female entrepreneurship and growth oriented businesses. ‘Unlocking potential’ is a key theme in this work. Jackie has run her own company Blue Horizons (Scotland) Ltd for 12 years now delivering many enterprise and economic development projects.  She also has an established track record as a leadership mentor having worked with top senior figures, male and female, across Scotland.  Through Blue Horizons, Jackie has been a policy advisor to the UK government; leading the Access to Finance for Women Entrepreneurs agenda.  She was also an Advisory Board Member to the Global Banking Alliance for Women; administered by the IFC in Washington DC. Prior to running her own company, Jackie was MD of a commercial subsidiary in the education sector for 3 years and also CEO of an enterprise development agency for 10 years.
