Nick Freer runs Edinburgh-based PR consultancy, Freer, advising many of Scotland’s top SMEs and tech startups - including Skyscanner, Blackcircles.com, FanDuel, CodeBase, Administrate and Informatics Ventures. Nick spent ten years in London with Europe’s top financial and corporate communications firm, Maitland, where clients included Deloitte, Westfield Corporation and the BBC, before relocating back to Scotland where he has worked closely with founders like Mike Welch (Blackcircles) and Gareth Williams (Skyscanner) in the run up to major transactions - Michelin’s acquisition of Blackcircles in 2015 and Sequoia Capital’s investment in Skyscanner in 2013. Nick is also the interim CMO and one of the founding team at fashion tech startup, Atterley.
