Paul is a Professional Investor, Venture Capitalist and Board Advisor with a substantial track record of creating value for companies and investors in the technology and business services sector. His principle focus is as Founding Partner of the boutique investment business, Par Equity LLP, which provides EIS and SEIS Funds in the technology venture space as well as providing investment Funds in certain other asset classes, including Residential Property and Forestry. Par Equity also operates one of the UK’s most substantial professional investor networks, the Par Syndicate. Since its foundation in 2009, Par Equity has built a substantial book of Technology, Property and Forestry investments and demonstrated the capability to deliver value through acquisitions and disposals within this portfolio. Prior to Par, Paul has previously founded two recruitment businesses, Direct Resources, which was acquired by NASDAQ listed iGate Corporation in 1999 and RecruitmentScotland.com which was acquired by another NASDAQ listed business, TMP Worldwide in 2000. He has also invested a number of other fast growing technology companies, including Rocela Group, which was recently acquired by Version 1 of Ireland and Mobiqa, which was acquired by NYSE listed NCR Corporation. In addition to his Par Equity investment related activities, Paul also acts as a board advisor to Head Resourcing Ltd (which he founded in 2001), Construction & Property Recruitment and iMultiply Resourcing.
