From April 2020 our events are going virtual and the first #SGVirtual Gibraltar is dedicated to those in the community that want to connect with others. This is an important transition and the Global Community and HQ Team are doing a fantastic job in helping us, we want to give them a huge shout out for working round the clock to achieve this. On Tuesday 14th April at 12.30 pm we are hosting the first #SGVirtual Connect & Chat with a Q & A created specifically to get you to participate. **please register on the free link to receive the Zoom invitation** Joining in the Q & A session Eddy Travia Coinsilium's CEO will cover the updates during this time on the use of Blockchain within the remote work processes and outcomes, payments and decentralised finance. This month you also have an exclusive application for 1:1 Mentorship with an AWS expert As a Startup Grind community member, you are invited to apply for our exclusive AWS + Startup Grind Mentorship Program as part of Mentorship Month. Selected applicants will have the opportunity to participate in a one-on-one mentor session to get guidance on how to grow and develop your business and allow you to get first-hand advice from experts in your field. We offer 5 distinct mentoring tracks that you can choose from, including Fundraising, Product, Marketing, Sales, or Strategy & Ops, and you will get paired with an AWS expert in the field of your choice. All sessions are held remotely, and the program is completely free for all participants. For just over three years we have hosted 37 consecutive events locally and this is thanks to the support from the local business community who participate by attending and speaking at the Fireside Chats, Panels and Parties. This is our time to listen to you and connect as many of our community members as possible so we can all help each other. We don't have the answers but we will try to find some solutions together. Our Q&A will cover: Are there changes that can be made to a business model to better adapt to current circumstances? What type of businesses would be ideal for partnership and cooperation to improve services? Can you make use of other businesses resources eg. product delivery, e-commerce, digital marketing, etc? In what ways could you improve the company's website and online presence? Will employees be able to work from home? What is out there to assist them to do so? How can you plan and secure both the business and your employee's future?
