Our guest this month is Ken Bridge, the mastermind behind Some of Houston’s favorite neighborhood dining and take-out spots including Pink’s Pizza, Republic Diner, Ritual, and Shepherd Park. As the Founder of Delicious Concepts Restaurant Group, the managing entity behind these locally recognized brands, Ken has continuously tested and launched eating establishments that address the desires of the diverse, dynamic, and increasingly sophisticated palates of Houstonians.
Some of his concepts have been huge hits, others have been misses, but each iteration and attempt has been a thoroughly involved personal labor of love and a learning experience for him and his team. Under his stewardship, Delicious Concepts has launched many brands that are either ahead of or spot on in terms of dining trends that our diverse community enjoys.
Ken is always thinking, evolving, and maintaining fresh and relevant restaurant concepts. He is supported by a close-knit family of team members that opens, operates, maintains, and grows the Delicious Concepts’ restaurants across the city, day in and day out. The Houston dining community has responded to their hard work and their consistent innovation and rewarded him and his team’s efforts through consistent patronage.
We wonder, what he’s going to launch next? Don’t you?!?!

With over 20 years experience as an entrepreneur, he has been a driving organizational force in multiple large outdoor concert events and festivals. Even as a teenager he knew he wanted to own and grow his own company that would be a reflection of his personality and values. No matter the project or endeavor he is always looking to develop and create a concept that will add value to the neighborhood, never accepting the status quo. From the very first stages of planning, at the beginning of his vision, there is only room for compromise when it will not diminish, or lessen the integrity of the concept as a whole. Treating his team members as partners in these efforts, he creates a kind of community that is only seen in the most successful entrepreneurial companies in the hospitality industry.
