Mr. Chad Sykes is the Founder & Chief Innovation Officer (CINO) of Indoor Harvest, Corp. He is responsible for managing the process of innovation and change management within Indoor Harvest Corp.
His responsibilities include:
Managing the innovation process that identifies strategies
Developing new capabilities & architectures with partners
New business models
New industry structures to serve opportunities for the vertical farming & building integrated agriculture sector.
Chad designed and developed Indoor Harvest’s modular aeroponic system and has been responsible for all research and development since inception. Prior to founding Indoor Harvest, Chad operated a boutique investor and public relations consulting firm where he provided investor and public relation programs for 6 publicly traded small and microcap companies in the manufacturing, healthcare, oil and gas, and agricultural industries.
Mr. Sykes also proudly served with the oldest and most decorated unit in the United States Army, Fourth Platoon, B Troop (Bandits), First Squadron, First Cavalry Regiment, and First Armored Division as an M1A1 Abrams Tank Crewman attached to the platoon leader’s track. He was deployed for combat operations during Operation Iraqi Freedom 1. Additionally, Mr. Sykes served with the First Brigade Combat Team, Fourth Infantry Division S4 as the driver for the S4OIC (Maj), and was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 3 logistics operations.
During his service, Specialist Sykes was awarded many medals and awards including:

The Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal
The Global War on Terrorism Service Medal
The Iraq Campaign Medal
Chad held a Top Secret Clearance and was trained as an Operator in the Department of the Army's Combat Service Support (CSS), Automated Information Systems Interface (CAISI), and Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS). Additionally, SPC. Sykes was additionally trained as a Battle Command Sustainment Support (BCS3) operator.
Before joining the U.S. Army, Chad worked in the mechanical trades construction industry for 10 years. He managed projects for Gowan, Inc., Har-Con Mechanical, Letsos Company, and MLN Company. His primary industry focus was medical gas systems, process piping, and control systems. His technical skills include plan review, design build, blueprints, isometric mechanical drawings, mechanical systems (HVAC/Plumbing), metal fabrication, brazing, soldering, and welding (MIG/TIG/STK/Plastics).
