As a geophysicist, Patricia has spent over thirty five years in the Oil Industry, serving in various international locations including Norway, Denmark, the UK, and Indonesia. Uniquely female in a predominantly male profession, Patricia paved the way for more women working on offshore exploration rigs in the Norwegian North Sea Sector. In addition, she was the first female professional to transfer to Indonesia with her children. In 1983, Patricia started her own consulting company that grew to include a data processing center specializing in high-tech interpretation procedures. In 1996, while continuing her consultation work in the oil industry, Patricia returned home to Chicago and founded Cygany, Inc., a pet product manufacturing company. PetGem - gold plated jewelry for pets - was her first big hit, eventually selling to over 5000 stores nationwide. Poopy Products was next, and has exploded to over 24 products designed for pet waste clean-up, including Poopy Pickups, Poopy Pee Pee Pads, Poopy Scoopy Bucket, and more! Poopy Products are now in over 20,000 stores throughout the USA and Canada (including Amazon.com and other online merchants), and generate over $500,000 in annual sales.
