Rassul Zarinfar is a businessman with a poet’s soul. So, of course, his business is beer. Buffalo Brewery Beer. Zarinfar is only 34, but much of his working life has been spent in the beer business. While a student of English and American poetry at Rice University, he tended bar at Willy’s Pub, one of the on-campus watering holes, and got a taste of the city’s beer-and-drinks industry. The Yarmouth, Maine, transplant stayed in Houston after graduation and worked four years in sales at the mammoth Silver Eagle Distributors before heading to Harvard for an MBA.
