Tuesday, August 9, 2022, 5:15 – 6:00 PM UTC

We've learned watching startups and companies that thrive, efficient and effective teams are often foundational to their success. It's why who you bring on your startup is so important. What if there is a piece of the team success puzzle that is not obvious and you are missing it? Tune in so you create and develop your teams better for 2023.

About this event

Startups often have to be able to BOTH move fast and shift gears at the drop of a dime.

Unbridled optimism is often a startup founder's strength because they will face a lot of unknown obstacles that lie ahead.

Team building doesn't have to be an unknown adventure or obstacle. There are simple core basics to learn and you can work with advisors who are savvy with instructional design, as well as what makes effective and engaged teams.

The goal of our fire-side chat with Dr. Carrie Graham is:

  • Talk about the basics and the level of awareness needed to develop a high-performance team.
  • Uncover the 4 characteristics of adult learners (preventing you from stepping into unnecessary quicksand.)
  • Examine the power of team engagement, how to recognize it and how to activate it.
  • Seek to understand instructional development practices to develop teams and their information retention.

We continue our commitment to bringing you Indigenous, Black, Asian, and Latin women experts this year to live our mission at Startup Grind to offer education and opportunities you need to build, grow, and scale your company.

We continue offering our monthly events virtually to allow you and other cities around the world to come together in our sessions.

This next month we will be taking our annual deep dive into exploring how to use our talents and skills to serve you best this next year 2023. Those of you who have requests for specific people or topics we cover in 2023, feel free to email me those recommendations to Michele@startupgrind.com
