Join us for an interactive session with Ms. Juvena Huang as she unravels her adventures solo travelling on a scooter through Pakistan at a time when tourism was really underdeveloped (2015). She will explain how she overcame the challenges of being a solo female traveller in Pakistan and South Asia, and share tips with everyone! A treat for those who want to take the road less taken, enjoy adventure, travel, and making human connections. Juvena Huang is an avid traveller who rode a scooter solo for 44,000km, across 25 countries from Singapore to Czech Republic. During her journey, she spent 4.5 months in Pakistan. After an epiphany resulting from a friend’s sudden passing, Ms Juvena Huang decided to fulfil her teenage dream of travelling. As a solo female traveller, she shared many intimate experiences with the people she met, which she documented via her Facebook Page “The Wandering Wasp”. Through the power of story-telling, Ms Huang hopes to foster cross-border understanding and tolerance, and to inspire others to discover their potential.
