Huma Hamid is a tech-maker by profession and an activist by heart with a passion for building products, platforms, teams, and communities. She is currently a technical product manager, and the Cofounder and former President at Pakistani Women in Computing (PWiC), an AnitaB.org affiliated global STEM community. Huma is a graduate of NUST-SEECS and Brunel University UK with 15 years of experience.
Huma Hamid is a tech-maker by profession and an activist by heart with a passion for building products, platforms, teams, and communities. She is currently a technical product manager, and the Cofounder and former President at Pakistani Women in Computing (PWiC), an AnitaB.org affiliated global STEM community. Huma is a graduate of NUST-SEECS and Brunel University UK with 15 years of experience working in several R&D and engineering groups focused on building digital platforms to serve industries like infrastructure and construction engineering, network and communication engineering, and digital learning. Her research on the challenges of implementing CRM systems in Pakistan got published at ECIS2009 in Italy and one of the few research studies focused on the digital transformation in Pakistan. Huma is also part of a number of global STEM communities as a mentor, and actively volunteers for causes impacting the digital ecosystem of Pakistan.
