Please be advised that this will not be your typical event on Mental Health Awareness. The pandemic has affected many of our lives - however, we have decided to focus on what happens next. Let us focus on moving on, shall we?
To conclude our annual #SGWomenMonth this year, we have decided to raise awareness on the importance of mental health, both in professional and personal lives. Our daily routines have unprecedentedly changed, and everyone had to suddenly adapt to new norms. We have heard and used the expression *New Normal* for probably around a million times. However, we rarely speak about the already existing issues we had to still deal with regardless of our scattered benchmarks.
Thanks to this unforeseen situation, mental health finally received more light. Although entrepreneurs were used to uncertainty, nobody was prepared for this kind, and mental health plays a massive role in keeping it together when no pillars standstill.
Therefore, our goal with this event is to shine more light on mental health outside of the current situation. The startup community is full of different players with various experiences and roles. Every single player faces different issues, and we have invited experts to share their insights on this topic.
We have a great panel of speakers with different backgrounds who will be tackling the topic from various angles. We are pleased to have female entrepreneurs from the Beijing startup community who will be sharing their insights from their own experiences.
