Marat Lutfullin (age 30) studied chemistry in Moscow State University and received a PhD in 2013. In 2016 he came to King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST) and, together with Prof. Osman Bakr and Dr. Jun Pan, founded a startup company Quantum Solutions. The company, based in Saudi Arabia, is a manufacturer of nanomaterials called "Quantum Dots" for applications in displays, solar cells, and sensors. Quantum Solution's goal is to become the leading worldwide manufacturer of quantum dots.
