Rob Johnson, Managing Director of Techstars Berlin & Cofounder of Makers Academy

After successfully completing his MBA in the Finance sector at Northern Michigan University and participating in a wide range of interesting projects, Rob Johnson cofounded Makers Academy in 2012 and grew it into Europe's largest coding bootcamp. Makers Academy - an intensive program to teach non-programmers everything they need to know to get a position in a world-class technology company - was recently ranked by the Guardian as the #1 place to learn to code in UK.

Moving out of the day-to-day operations of Makers Academy, Rob accepted a role as a Managing Director for Techstars in Berlin - one of the top global startup accelerating ecosystems that work hand in hand with highly influential corporate partners who offer mentorship and multiple business development opportunities.
