Tiffany Dowling founded M3 Group more than 11 years ago. The full-service branding agency offers its clients marketing, public relations and advertising services and has won numerous awards for everything from campaigns, marketing tactics, social media and public relations programs. In addition to the agency, Dowling is currently the publisher of two regional publications, Capital Area Women's LifeStyle magazine and the Greater Lansing Business Monthly. Prior to starting M3 Group, Dowling spent three years as an appointee to Governor John Engler. She worked as the marketing and public relations director for the Michigan Department of Career Development and a Public Information Officer to the Governor's Office. In this role, Dowling worked on statewide branding initiatives including the Michigan Works! program and the Career Preparation system. Dowling managed a budget of $6.25 million for statewide awareness efforts. Leading up to her time in state government, Dowling was marketing and public relations director for the nonprofit organization Starr Commonwealth where she was charged with helping lower the average age of its donor base from 67 to 52 in three years. In addition, Dowling worked for Lansing-based Neogen Corporation as a corporate writer responsible for internal and external communications that included writing articles surrounding bio-tech and food safety for national trade publications. Dowling, originally from the Detroit area, loves the Lansing community where she currently resides with her husband and two sons. She enjoys working hard and giving back whenever possible.
