The event kicks off at 6:00pm with an hour long food and networking session. Food is to be provided by Fathy's restaurant Tabooli. Once everyone has filtered in, we start the fireside chat with Fathy Shetiah at 7pm where Phil Threadgould performs the interview. Q&A with Fathy runs from roughly 7:45 to 8:00pm. At 8:00pm we will have MSU student Giana Carli give a 3 minute pitch on her grocery delivery app called Crudo. After that we will adjourn for more networking.

Fathy Shetiah is a Michigan State University alum with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing. For several years, Mr. Shetiah worked at National City Bank, building and motivating his fellow team members. While expanding his business experience, Fathy moved up through the management program, receiving multiple awards and promotions. From there, he moved on to owning and overseeing multiple BIGGBY COFFEE stores with his brother, Mohamed. They currently own and operate 26 BIGGBY COFFEE stores together.
Through his previous work with multiple industries and throughout the Michigan community, Fathy saw the need for language and cultural accommodations. To meet this need, he founded 7C Lingo in 2007. 7C Lingo prides itself on being Your Global Link to the world. 7C Lingo is a cross-cultural communications agency specializing in multicultural training and the facilitation of global relationships. Fathy’s understanding of the importance of cultural intelligence motivated him to become certified by the Cultural Intelligence Center, LLC as a CQ Certified Facilitator in 2012. Fathy and his team facilitate business growth and opportunities for their clients through cultural intelligence assessments, training, and global networking opportunities. They provide additional support through their global programming and language services, enabling their clients to go anywhere and communicate with anyone for new business development.
His ambitions don’t stop there. Fathy’s most recent entrepreneurial pursuits focus on the opening of 3 Lansing Area restaurants with his brother. Their restaurant Tabooli is a fresh new Mediterranean fast-food concept with healthy dine-in, drive-thru, and delivery options for the Lansing community.
