CALLING ALL STARTUPS, EMERGING, AND HIGH GROWTH COMPANIES.

We're kicking off the fall season with the local edition of our inaugural Startup Grind VIrtual Global Pitch Battle. Pitch your startup and compete to win a free membership in our global Startup Program plus lots of additional prizes.

The top three companies will have the opportunity to compete in our global Pitch Battle against some of the best startups in the world with more phenomenal prizes.

Who: Startup's, Early-stage, and high growth company's, founders, co-founders, team members & startup enthusiasts

Where: From your couch, deck, the comfort of your own home!

When: Monday, August 31st, 6 pm

Startups: We select 6 startups, emerging, and high growth companies, founders, and management teams to the virtual stage for a 5-minute pitch opportunity followed by 3 minutes of Q&A from the judges and the audience. There will be investors, so be prepared to answer questions!

Process: Any startup, early-stage, and high growth company interested in pitching MUST APPLY and submit an application package by Wednesday, August 26th at 5 pm.

The application package includes our on-line application form, submission of your executive summary and pitch deck, plus a 1-minute elevator pitch video that has been posted to YouTube.

Applications and submission packages are due by Wednesday, August 26th at 5 pm. NO EXCEPTIONS.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

Pitching Companies: Exposure, publicity, and the opportunity to practice and perfect your pitch. The top three winners of the pitch competition win a free membership in our global Startup Program that includes a bunch of street cred and pride plus great tools, international connections, access to capital, and high-value products and services to help their business.

Judges: Our judges will be prominent Angel Investors and VC's. Each participating company will receive detailed written feedback from the judges on what you can do to continue to refine and improve your pitch and presentation as you move forward in your fundraising efforts,

Winners: The top 3 companies scored by the judges will be the winners. In addition, there will be an "Audience Choice" winner selected by a vote event attendees. The winners will receive a free membership in our Startup Grind Startup Program and move on to compete in our global Pitch Battle in late September/early October. The "Audience Choice" winner will receive their own unique prizes.

Supporters and Attendees: Despite the "pressure" of pitching, the goal is for the event to be fun and lighthearted. Everyone, including friends, family, team members, employees, are welcome to join us, support our region's entrepreneurship ecosystem, make new friends, and be part of the selection process.
