Melissa Rabideau is the founder and owner of tinkrLAB: STEAM Learning Centers. Being the daughter of a local inventor, the groundwork was already laid for her concept of tinkrLAB to come alive. She has taken tinkrLAB from a concept to a growing business. Building relationships and common interests among partners has helped build tinkrLAB into a statewide brand. Gaining attention on a national level, Melissa looks to turn tinkrLAB into a successful corporation and franchise opportunity.
The value of tinkrLAB is that creativity and curiosity are encouraged in a safe environment, with hands-on teaching. Kids learn best when they can experience and touch something rather than only watching. A main part of her business is the tinkrZONE Makerspace, where they work with both kids and adults, teaching how to make and create their own ideas or projects. Watching Kids light up with excitement over their ideas coming to life is what keeps her actively pursuing the growth and accessibility of tinkrLAB everywhere.
Melissa currently resides in Eaton Rapids with her family and her 2 lovable basset hounds. Outside of running her business, she enjoys listening to musical soundtracks that she can sing along to, as well as spending time with family and friends where she can beat them in fun rounds of interactive games.
