Join Startup Grind LA for an evening with NITROPOD's Scot Rubin! From gaming networks to liquid-nitrogen fueled ice cream treats, Rubin is an entrepreneur whose professional history is diverse but with a common theme: if it's awesome, new and different, he's all over it.
Rubin is the founder of All Games Productions, All Games Network, and co-founder of the
G4 television network, in addition to being a talk show host and television producer. AllGames launched in 1996, and in 2000 Rubin was hired as a consultant for
Comcast to develop a 24-7 cable TV channel about video games. As co-founder of G4 Media, Rubin served as VP of Internet and Program Development. He developed, produced and hosted
the networks interactive talk show for 3 seasons. Rubin also served as a Producer on the first 3 seasons of the EA Sports Madden Challenge, and play by play guy for the first two Madden Challenge Finals.
In 2004, when G4 began abandoning its video game format, Rubin left and relaunched All Games Productions, a production company providing consulting and production services to the video game and entertainment industries. Rubin currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Digital Media for Big Door Studios, and is the Founder of
Nitropod, the world's first interactive liquid nitrogen kitchen and podcasting studio on wheels.
Rubin will speak on maintaining your startup's core mission, focus, drive, desire and culture, whatever line of business you might be in. Never afraid to speak his mind when corporate visions aren't being realized, Rubin will share his knowledge and experience on what it takes to remain innovative, competitive, and forward thinking.
