Georges Bock is the Managing Partner of KPMG Luxembourg. He has worked with some of the largest investment funds around the world, including DWS, Allianz Global Investors, and Union Investment. This experience has given him an understanding of the most complex of tax questions, and the ability to give valuable feedback to managers and boards.
Georges started his career with KPMG in 1991 as auditor before joining KPMG Tax Advisers [1994]. He was nominated Global Chairman of the KPMG Funds Tax Network [2007] and has worked with some of the world’s largest investment funds, including DWS, Allianz Global Investors, and Union Investment. This experience has given him an understanding of the most complex of tax questions. In 2009, he became KPMG Luxembourg’s Head of Tax and was elected Managing Partner [2012].
With him as KPMG Luxembourg’s Managing Partner, the firm is directed towards innovative and sustainable solutions to business - with one eye resolutely on the future. his approach to developing business is highly entrepreneurial and he firmly believes that anticipating the next lasting trend is as crucial as excelling in operations.
During his leadership KPMG Luxembourg has identified major global megatrends that will have a significant transversal impact on Luxembourg and its financial sector, namely Economic Interconnectedness, Enabling Technology and Economic Power Shift and developed forward-looking approaches and tools.
