Madgalena, Veronika and Piotr will share how being connected to artists and designers let them learn their mindset and input into projects on different fields: education, social sciences, strategical thinking. Through these experience we understood the value of solving problems with creativity, seeing issues from different perspectives.

Their biggest value was not connected to aesthetics and « making things look pretty ». It was all about connecting the dots, finding the cross-industry analogies, asking WHAT IF questions, playing with abstract levels and making smart combinations. Starting with « why ».

Why? Because they believe that business value does not have to be “invented”. It can be “listened-out” of the user.

Furthermore the fireside chat will be followed by a [Sprint] Design Jam targeted to the local Startup Grind community.

The main idea behind the Jam is to share knowledge, to experience a design process centred on user experience, and to have a good time. And while projects from past Jams have led to the creation of some startups, this one does not focus on devising achievable projects to be implemented straight after the event.
