Prior to Acquicent, Anthony was VP Communications and Chief Evangelist of Verizon's digital unit. He joined Verizon following their $400M acquisition of EdgeCast Networks, a company he helped launch and establish as a leader in the web acceleration space. At EdgeCast, his responsibilities spanned the entire marketing and communications gamut (and more) from pre-launch/stealth mode through acquisition.
Previously,Anthony held founder and/or leadership roles in several other technology startups, helping grow them from idea stage to multi-million dollar revenue streams, and through two acquisitions.
Anthony has also spent a substantial amount of time in and around government, ranging from senior staff member to advisor to fundraiser. He's also an occasional angel investor, with a current portfolio that includes about 10 companies.
