Doug started his career in Finance and was a trader on Wall Street before he decided to do something different and more impactful. In 2008, he moved to China and pursued more e-commerce and entrepreneurial projects. Since that time he has started a tour company, helped Groupon expand into China, helped Rocket Internet with Zalora, and now helping Uber expand its business operations in Asia. He is originally from Houston, TX and studied Finance from the University of Texas-Austin.
John is the CEO and founder of ZipMatch, a Manila-based startup that provides solutions for the real estate industry, that has raised its first seed round from a combined group of global and local investors led by IMJ Fenox and which includes 500 Startups, IdeaSpace, and Hatchd Digital. He was also a key member of Affiliate Media, Inc., and helped the company become one of the fastest-growing startups according to Inc.com
. He has built various website portals, specialized in driving traffic and conversions to monetize through affiliate marketing. He became the affiliate director at VIP, a gaming company, and after which he ventured into Asia to help Bodog, one of the world’s biggest gaming brands, penetrate the Asian market as its Head of Business Development. John has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California majoring in Finance and International Business.
