José Ignacio Rasco is the Managing Director of STRAAT and founder of
BUILDING.co, Miami's premier collaborative workspace designed for growing companies and individuals serving the
#MiamiTech ecosystem. STRAAT is in the business of building companies and is currently growing three startups in industries ranging from car restoration to health tech. Jose is responsible for all of the company’s holdings and provides strategic guidance to
STRAAT’s companies. He serves on the board of directors of the companies and brings his experience in M&A, finance, accounting, international structures, and tax. In addition, he oversees the company’s growing urban real estate holdings.
Previously, Jose was CFO and one of the co-founders of
.CO Internet, a top level domain business founded in 2009 and
sold in 2014 to Neustar, Inc., a global technology and analytics provider.
Outside of work he answers to his wife and two kids. He was one of the founding Trustees of the Miami Chapter of Awesome Foundation and a former member of the Miami-Dade Public Schools Audit and Budget Advisory Committee. He is a CPA, graduated from the Wharton School of Business, and has a Master’s degree in Taxation from Florida International University.
