J Haleem went from working for $8.00 an hour at the Hampton Inn, to earning 6 figures as a Commercial Photographer in just a few years. He was able to accomplish all this while being a convicted felon. While working for $8.00 an hour he developed his mantra #I Won’t Starve which was the catalyst for him to leave his job after only one year. Over his career, he’s been able to work with international brands like Nike, Save The Children Foundation, NFL, Amtrak & The WNBA.

Since then, he has become pardoned, and now is a best-selling author and motivational speaker. J Haleem uses the #I Won’t Starve message to encourage and motivate students, entrepreneurs and career-oriented individuals. His goal is to inspire you to build a platform to ensure U Won’t Starve.

Ticina Williams is an author, consultant and creative entrepreneur. She is a native of the southside of Chicago and a graduate of Kenwood Academy. She has worked in the healthcare industry for the last 16 years, as nationally certified Pharmacy Technician. Ticina L. Williams is the also the founder of Creativiti Custom Designs and Events, a full service event planning, and party supply company. Creativiti Custom Designs and Event’s mission is to empower clients to successfully plan, and manage a myriad of projects or style personalized events featuring products and services created and curated exclusively by the brand. Ticina graduated from Chicago State University with a degree in Business Administration/Management, and is a member Delta Mu Delta,a business honor society that recognizes and encourages academic excellence of students. Fueled by a drive to learn, Ticina has also earned certifications in Hospitality and Tourism Management (Florida Atlantic University) and Event Planning from Correlations Event Planning LLC. She is also currently pursing a Master’s of Business Administration (Project Management) from Keller Graduate School of Management. She is passionate about civic engagement, community service and advocating for resources to build thriving communities in Chicago.
