Our  speaker of the Local Wonders Series will be Shaterial Starnes, Owner of The Starnes Group.

Shaterial Starnes, Owner of The Starnes Group is a Financial Coach who is also a published author, trainer, facilitator and consultant. Previously Starnes worked in Corporate America at Nortel Networks, one of the leading telecommunication’s company in the world; managing their largest account and three warehouses across the country. After discovering her knack for educating, she became a classroom teacher and created rich learning experiences for her students. Starnes ultimately recognized her ability to empower and educate through financial literacy. “A turning point for me was how the lack of financial knowledge had a devastating impact on people’s lives currently and generations to come. I made a cognizant decision to bring about change by helping individuals and business owners recognize root causes to their financial behaviors.” A personal breakthrough transpired and Starnes never looked back. Starnes sees herself as a Financial Farmer…helping individuals and business owners’ plant financial seeds to reap a harvest for generations to come.
