Born in Hong Kong, raised in SF Bay, and now based in NYC, Tracy Wong is a 10+ years fashion professional with both design and marketing background. She has worked with brands big and small, including Macy's, Inditex, Tommy Hilfiger, and Calvin Klein, just to name a few. 

Her career spans across a wide range of roles including creative directing, design, merchandising, and product development, allowing her a thorough grasp of the fashion dynamic. She was one of the featured designers in SF Fashion Week, and was ex-cofounder of FTW, an online media devoted to the then emerging fashion tech category. 

Today, with the purpose of overhauling an industry with one of the highest environmental impacts, she founded Voor to redesign fashion's business model to be synchronous, agile, and truly sustainable.

Here's how to prepare for the event.

This platform supports HTC Vive; Oculus Rift, Rift S, Go, and Quest; Windows Mixed Reality -- as well as 2D Mode on PC & Mac* (see system requirements here). A 2D live stream of the event will also be available on our YouTube channel for users unable to join in the virtual space. See below for how to join, depending on your available hardware

• Download the AltspaceVR application for your device at https://altvr.com/getaltspacevr/
• Login or create an account using the same email you provided when RSVP'ing for this event.
• Go to your Altspace Main Menu.
• Click on EVENTS at the bottom of the window.
• Click on MY EVENTS at the top of the window.
• Find the Startup Grind NYC event in the center.
• 3 minutes before the event, an ENTER icon will appear. Click that icon to warp into the event space.

How to check your email for your AltspaceVR Account

• Go to https://account.altvr.com
• Login using the email you provided when RSVP'ing for the event.
• Click on EVENTS on the top left side of the main menu.
• Click on MY EVENTS on the secondary menu.
• You should see the Startup Grind NYC event here.

If you do not see the event, please contact us immediately and we will fix the situation on the spot for you.

***Mac users need to do one extra step to run an install on their Mac***

• AFTER ERROR, GIVE PERMISSION TO OPEN THE APP
• Go to Settings > Privacy & Security
• Go to General
• Select “Open Anyway”
• That's it!
