We hosting Gloria Phakathi the Managing Director at Glo Mo Solutions whom will be discussing her recently entrepreneurial journey to launching a software called Worx360 a Workflow Management Software, Business Systems & Tools, Enterprise Supplier Development, Business Support and Funding.
Gloria Phakathi is a Business Analyst and a Project Manager with a keen interest in Project Management, Workflow Management software’s, Skills Development for the youth and women in technology, mentoring for Hackathon and IT Professional Recruitment.
Gloria holds a Diploma in Software Engineering, accredited PMI- CAPM Project Manager. She has certificates for International Computer Certificate Studies(ICCS), Systems Engineer, Small Business Enrichment Programme, Management Development for Employment Services Professionals. She is currently studying towards her BCOM in Information Technology. She is an accredited Individual Staffing Professional (ISPr). Her work experience started off as professional Debt Collector for different companies (Edcon, Standard Bank and Wesbank). She then moved to the ICT sector where she held different positions Software Technical Support, Application Support Specialist, Software Tester, SQL Database Administrator and Business Analyst. She has worked for the following companies BBD, Futuresoft, Chase software. She has over 12 years’ experience in the ICT sector specifically Software Development. She is also an accredited Facilitator for skills development and Payroll and Compliance.
She is the founder of Glo Mo Solutions (Pty)Ltd which was founded in 2015 where she holds the managing Director position. She has led the team that has developed two of their internal Software’s, the first one is the Worxflow360 Management Software and the second which is a Payroll Software. She has done workshops at the African Startup Awards for the finalist of the competitions.
Gloria has done Hackathon mentoring and Design Thinking training for the teams, together with Silicon Cape sponsored by the USA Embassy. She has worked closely with NGO to assist them to implement IT Strategy within their organizations.
