About this event

We are celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week 2019 as Startup Grind Pretoria with activities and events being planned from the 18th to the 23rd November.

We kicking off our GEW events by partnering with Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda) in bringing you a full day celebration with outs if activities that will enable fellow Tshwane entrepreneurs are well informed on what the Tshwane Entrepreneurial Ecosystem has to offer.

Seda Tshwane in partnership with the City of Tshwane, Startup Grind Pretoria and MamelodiBiz is again planning its annual Entrepreneurship Day in line with the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) on the 18th of November 2019 at the 012Central.

The GEW has several themes, but the one most relevant to the planned event is as follows:

GEW Ecosystems | #GEWecosystems

The Global Entrepreneurship Network and other entrepreneurship support organizations around the world are looking beyond Silicon Valley to facilitate collaboration and partnership between startup ecosystems in promising mid-tier cities. Sharing knowledge and connecting local ecosystem leaders has become increasingly important in building healthy and thriving entrepreneurial communities.

GEW Ecosystems aims to inspire communities to collaborate, and share their networks and markets to help their rising startups thrive. This theme celebrates the shared challenges and triumphs of entrepreneurship communities and hubs around the world.”

Do join us as we get educated, inspired and connect as entrepreneurs in the City of Tshwane.

This is a free event, you need to send an RSVP to gmore@seda.org.za

We will be joined on the day by teams and officials from the following funding agencies NYDA, GEP, SEFA and NEF. Do come address your funding needs directly with the officials who are to give you reason and tips on how to apply for the different funding available.

For all your Networking opportunities and access to market within the City of Tshwane the likes of MamelodiBiz, Capital Media and Capital Chamber will be on hand informing us about the exciting developments happening in the City that will positively impact the lives of all entrepreneurs.
