Previously, David was Co-Founder and General Partner or DataFrame Ventures, which invested in data-driven startups. David served as a Data Science Team Lead at Galvanize (acquired by K12/Stride Education), responsible for delivering Scaled Training Programs and Professional Services including Data Partnerships, Product Marketing, Pre Sales, and Post Sales. Prior to that, David served as Lead Data Scientist for Enterprise with General Assembly in 2017 and 2018, for the Fortune 500 portfolio (acquired by Adecco). Prior to General Assembly, David served as Chief of Staff for the BIG3 Basketball League from 2016 to 2017. Prior to BIG3, David served in data product roles from 2010 to 2015, including Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, ADP, and Aflac.
David has led specialized data workshops at Harvard Medical School, CMU, NASA, Environmental Defense Fund, Fermilab, NOAA, Jackson Lab, Argonne, New York Academy of Sciences, and NYU. David has previously served as an advisor for The Carpentries and Newchip.
David grew up in the United States. He received an undergraduate degree in business administration and information systems from the University of Florida, and he completed an AI Fellowship at Columbia University. David is currently pursuing a Masters in Computer Science at the University of Illinois.
