Scott has over twenty years of experience focusing on complex IP and technology disputes, including serving as litigation and trial counsel in many leading cases. In addition, he regularly provides strategic counseling to industry leaders facing complex law and technology issues. He serves as Co-Leader of White & Case's Technology Industry Group.
Scott focuses on the litigation and trial of complex IP disputes, as well as on IP strategy and counseling.
Regularly called upon to lead teams in challenging cases, Scott has achieved successful litigation outcomes for industry leaders in internet search, mobile communications, telecommunications, cable, professional networks and video gaming development. He has significant experience representing companies in the automotive industry, as well as in the life sciences. Drawing on more than 20 years litigating technology disputes and prior work as an engineer focused on robotic vehicles as well as space-based defense systems, Scott is skilled at breaking down complex technologies and making them easy for judges and juries to understand.
Scott has a JD from the University of Pennsylvania and an SB and SM from MIT.
