About this event

29-year-old Deepti Kasbekar founded The Mesh as an experiment in September 2014. She needed a space besides her home to work from, and company to bounce off ideas. Just nine months in and The Mesh already has three office spaces in Pune and one in Colaba, Mumbai. Open to everyone from freelancers to consultants, the major chunk of the crowd are generally start-ups. Once you become a member, you get amenities such as a designated seat, Internet connectivity, access to a conference room, lunch, tea/coffee and snacks.

The Mesh has special membership rates for women entrepreneurs and social start-ups, and a Moonlighters Package for those who want to work after 7 pm.

The Mesh provides entrepreneurs with space, food, endless amount of internet and tea and a sweet little puppy as a stress buster. Other facilities such as printers, scanner and even free gym memberships are available to the members of The Mesh.Entrepreneurs are allowed to work any number of hours , anytime food facilities, conference rooms for meetings are made available and all this comes at a very nominal cost.

Kaushik Bhagwat is the ‘Chief Mesh Maker’ at The Mesh and takes care of all the operational aspects.
